Hi Sir, Sorry for bothing you but…I you have your vowls in the wrong spots… in Tengwar you read top to bottom left to right…. you have your “O” before your “J”.. to spell “Ojhn” your whole name in English currently reads… “Ojohn Ojesph Abichr”… I would recommend going to one of several Tengwar…Quenya websites there’s one that actually has workbooks to translate and do practices… Sorry to be the one to burst ya bubble… just change your vowels out you’ll do just fine.
Shale, you are mistaken. I should have noted to John when I did this for him, but I didn’t use the Sindarin notation (which you are referring to). The notation I used was Quenya, not Sindarin.
Sindarin does the vowel placement backwards from Quenya.

Brandon is correct. That site is the most accurate site for elvish name translations. If you truly want your name to be “elvish” then you should translate it before transcribing it.

This is what the author of this blog also posted. But I do not believe the readers have been informed how to use the applet. First off, most of the options will not work unless the fonts are installed on your computer. Since that takes some work, we will just skip to the option that is already functional.
The output format should be set to PNG. This will produce an image of your name in Tengwar. The mode can be set according to with style of Tehtar you would like. I usally pick Sindarin (classic), as it is what is used during the time of the Lord of the Rings, but this is a user preference.
After you type your name in, select the correct mode and output, click on transribe - and viola! there is your name in Tengwar!

I’ve noticed you on here before, so I decided to see if I could be of help. The first link is Destiny written in English using Tengwar (English mode). The second link is Destiny translated to Elvish using Tengwar(Sindarin_classic mode). The translated name is Maranwe (pronounced Mar-ahn-weh).
