I've been using NNW 2.0 full version for a few months and like it a lot. I like the tabs. I actually don't use the synching anymore since I am always on only one machine.

NNW can use the Bloglines API and hence provides syncing through Bloglines. So does BlogMatrix Jager and a few others. See:

http://www.bloglines.com/services/api/

But why pay for NNW when you can get the same thing for free from BlogMatrix Jager... and perhaps there are other free RSS readers that sync to Bloglines or something equivalent.

NewsGator, a competitor to Bloglines provides similar APIs and also integration with Outlook, etc. Also see similar server+reader tools (similar to Shrook) like BlogBridge, etc. Perhaps even Pluck?

Vienna (IMHO the best RSS reader out there) says that Bloglines integration may be in for release 2.1 (current release is 2.0 -- beta?).

Bloglines is pretty decent if you haven't found it yet. Webapps are the wave of the future, man. Syncing is a pain, leave everything online where it belongs. NNW interface is pretty nice though.
