I’ve been very happy with my Griffin PowerWave, mostly because it’s the only solution of its kind within hundreds of dollars of its price.
Now there is a new solution at a little more than half the price of the PowerWave, the Instant Music from ADS Tech. Not as many features as the PowerWave (it can’t power speakers, doesn’t have headphone out or mic in, doesn’t have a huge obnoxious blue orb of light that keeps you awake at night if you forget to unplug it), but it has the only feature I’ve used so far, RCA out.
