I was amazed by how effective it was on my own perspective, on the spot. After
the initial conflict, before and after the commercials, when the hosts are faci
ng the camera doing their thing, they are so broken down and weak in my mind, t
heir words and stories such obvious theatre. They can no longer use their flash
y production and cultural momentum to make me feel obliged to take them serious
ly.
